We are using the SSMP on several jobs for the BER Schools program. Two of
our sites have been audited by the Education Department, and we have passed
both audits well. This document has served us well, in lieu of adopting the
Principal Contractor's system, as has been done in the majority of similar
cases. It is a simply constructed and easily editable document that meets
the requirements of a small contracting firm without a dedicated WHS staff."
